Every piece we broker is inspected by an independent watchmaker before dispatch. That inspection covers: caliber match against the reference database, laser-etched crown (Rolex), correct case engravings, dial and hands originality, bracelet end-link and clasp code, warranty card and service history where applicable.
For vintage Patek Philippe and Vacheron Constantin we can order Extract from the Archives to confirm the originality of case, dial and movement — adds 4–8 weeks to sourcing but is worth it on any piece over €50,000. For vintage Rolex we cross-reference the caliber, dial code, case reference and serial number against period-correct production windows.
We refuse franken-watches, franken-dials, incorrect-generation bezels and re-lumed dials passed off as original. If a piece fails inspection it doesn't ship — we source a replacement or refund the settlement, at your choice.
